ONTARIO VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS (SSC)
In Ontario, a Safety Standards Certificate (SSC) is legally required whenever you register a rebuilt motor vehicle, transfer ownership of a used vehicle privately, or register an out-of-province vehicle in Ontario.

We inspect all structural, mechanical, and safety components to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy.
CORE INSPECTION DISCIPLINES
Brake pad thickness, rotor runout, drum condition, ABS performance, and hydraulic brake line corrosion testing.
Ball joints, tie rods, control arms, sway bars, wheel bearings, and shock/strut leak checks.
Headlamp alignment, signal lamps, horn, wiper motor, defroster, and windshield crack/chip inspection.

Upon passing, official Ontario SSC certificate is issued (valid for 36 days).
SAFETY INSPECTION QUESTIONS
An Ontario Safety Standards Certificate (SSC) is valid for exactly 36 calendar days from the date of issue. The vehicle ownership transfer at ServiceOntario must occur within this 36-day window.
If your vehicle fails, you have 10 calendar days to complete the required repairs and return to our shop for a free re-inspection of the failed components.
